BE AN AMBASSADOR
Our Ambassadors play an active and vital role in bringing our story to their local communities – family / friends / businesses / schools / institutions - helping to raise awareness and understanding of women’s lives and needs in Nepal through giving illustrated talks and attending events. They also help to raise the necessary funds to buy our FKBs.
Allison Davies – Northumberland
Allison is a writer and Director of Danusha, a BAFTS registered social enterprise www.danusha.org
Ms Karen Barratt - London
Karen is a professional nurse of thirty years standing. She has also worked with charities and voluntary organisations both U.K. based and international.
She has travelled and volunteered as Lead Nurse for Health Partnership Nepal for ten years and whilst working in remote areas and small towns of Nepal has experienced first-hand the poverty and harsh conditions as well as the realities of hygiene and period poverty. She was shocked to find that most people in the U.K. she has spoken with regarding this are totally unaware of the situation.
As an Ambassador Karen plans to spread the word of Freedom Kit Bags in Nepal with medical projects and through medical contacts.
